The Guide to Danger Beasts Empty The Guide to Danger Beasts

Post by Empress Naga Wed Jul 29, 2015 12:20 pm

Danger beasts are monstrous creatures that roam the earth, typically feeding on and destroying the lives of the various human beings and animals that cross their path. Most are savage, but all are dangerous when they are in the wrong mood. They vary in all shapes, sizes, personalities, and some even have their own unique abilities.

The danger beasts of this world are placed into one of five classes, Delta, Beta, Alpha, Omega, and Ultra. Each class being deadlier then the last. Delta's are the weakest, and Ultra's are the most ferocious. Of course, the more dangerous the danger beast is, the rarer they are to find.

You will need to find danger beasts for various quests, missions, or for training threads. The Imperial army will typically be sent on missions to take care of danger beasts that have become an annoyance, and aren't above Alpha rank. However, the Capital will send out the Jaegers if it is Omega or higher. Night raid and the revolutionary army tend to stay away from them unless they are fighting to train, or make money by bringing back the carcass of a danger beast that got a bounty on its head.

No matter your reason for looking for a danger beast, you will need to use the Danger Beast Die to find it. You have a;

- 40% chance to find a Delta
- 30% chance to find a Beta
- 20% chance to find an Alpha
- 9% chance to find an Omega
-1% chance to find an Ultra

The Delta class are almost exactly like your typical wild animal. Not very intelligent, and can probably be taken down without a weapon.

The Beta class, on the other hand, is a bit stronger. They will be difficult to take down without a weapon, such as a knife, or a sword. However C-rank people could probably take them down bare handed.

The Alpha class is when things start to get tricky. At this point, they have developed a bit of intelligence, and usually have a unique ability to boost their game such as super strength, sonic screaming, etc.

The Omega class should not be trifled with unless you are in a group of two or three (teigu or not). They can be about as intelligent as Alphas, however, they carry two or three unique abilities. Things such as toxic breath, super speed, abnormal defense, etc. (Because of their power, abilities, and rarity, they will be Role Played by a staff member on the Danger Beast account)

The Ultra class is the ultimate opponent. They should not be attacked unless their opponent is a group that has at least one or two teigu users, and 4 or 5 people in total. An S-ranked soldier with a teigu would have trouble taking one of these guys down on their own. (Because of their power, abilities, and rarity, they will be Role Played by a staff member on the Danger Beast account)

Now, depending on where you are, the types of Danger beasts will differ. The species of danger beast will change from place to place depending on the area, terrain, and climate. Highly populated area such as Gyoga and the Capital don't have native danger beasts (Of course occasionally there might be an event where one stumbles in).

Now, being things you will fight, they do have stats! Stats for them work exactly the same as for humans, however, they have a different stat. Intelligence. Intelligence is how smart the creature is, 55 being average human, and anything over 100 being above genius. It also shows how well the creatures use their abilities.
